Investing in MJF Ventures: A Long-Term Operating Model

July 4, 2026

MJF Ventures LLC is not positioned as a private equity fund, search fund, or five-year exit vehicle. It is a single-member, member-managed Illinois LLC — formed March 14, 2022, with operating history tracing to 2016 — built to acquire, operate, and grow technology businesses for the long term.

If you are an investor, lender, or strategic counterpart evaluating MJF Ventures, this is how the model actually works.

One entity, many brands

Revenue and expenses consolidate at MJF Ventures LLC while per-brand P&L tracking in our internal platform shows which lines are performing. That structure gives investors consolidated visibility without losing operating granularity.

MJF Ventures long-term operating model

What creates durable value

  1. Owned infrastructure (MJF Ventures Hardware) — Proxmox, networking, colocation, AI inference stack. Tangible assets that improve margins as they amortize.
  2. Shared corporate services — HR, finance, legal, compliance, and oversight centralized so brands focus on selling and delivery.
  3. GTM discipline — one sub-brand in "Launch now" at a time; revenue targets outside Tier-1 are aspirational unless resourced.
  4. Financial prudence — reinvestment during growth rather than broad distributions.

Governance reality

Matthew Fitzgerald is the sole member and Managing Member with full operational authority. There is no board of directors and no Investment Committee. Major decisions (asset sales above $50,000, debt above $25,000) are documented per the Operating Agreement.

That lean governance is a feature for operators who want direct accountability — and a constraint investors should understand when evaluating scale.

Company values that guide capital allocation

  • Integrity First — ethical, transparent, accountable
  • Excellence in Execution — attention to detail, continuous improvement
  • Strategic Foresight — long-term thinking over quarterly optics
  • Collaborative Spirit — brands share infrastructure and services
  • Financial Prudence — sustainable growth over short-term gains

Geographic and market focus

Managed services and AI integration serve clients across the United States. Automation Governor, the domain portfolio, and remote-capable AI engagements are available nationwide.
